[Thinkpad] 2.5in HDD external USB 2.0 enclosures

these things are cheap and very useable..
can't speak to the quality of one over the other..
but you should not pay more than $40 TOPS for one..

apricorn makes/markets one with their EZ gig software clone utility..
works well, but the cost for THAT kit is $80 to $100..
